Your chef-prepared meal will be ready for pick up or delivery on Monday, October 26th – fully cooked and prepared so you can heat it up for dinner that night or freeze to enjoy later in the week. Available times are: Delivery 12-2pm, 2-4pm, or 4-6pm or Pick Up 4-6pm.

Massaman Curry Chicken Rice Noodle Soup

This comforting and delightful Thai inspired chicken noodle soup spotlights “Massaman” curry that has a lot of Indian influence with spices such as anise, tamarind, cinnamon, and cardamom. This soup has a wonderful balance of the curry, fresh ginger, lemongrass, and coconut milk with a wonderful assemble of farmers market veggies like carrots, sweet potato, and kale served with rice noodles and peanuts.

Massaman Curry Chicken Rice Noodle Soup from Cooked and Delivered by Open Kitchen Santa Fe

Chicken is a great source of protein & zinc, which supports the immune system.

Coconut Milk contains medium chain triglycerides (MCT) which promote the health of gut bacteria

“Three cups” can be defined as one of the important flavor profiles for Taiwanese flavor. The so called “three cups” refer to the sauce made with a cup of soy sauce, a cup of Chinese rice wine, and a cup of sesame oil. In Taiwanese culture, chicken, sesame oil and ginger are the essential ingredients to nourish our bodies during winter. This dish is perfect with a sip of hot sake!

Beef was introduced to Vietnam by the French during its colonization of the country and this dish, Bò Kho, is a Vietnamese style beef stew with carrots and potatoes similar to the classic French Pot-au-feu, but spiced in a traditional Vietnamese manner, fragrant with lemongrass, ginger, star anise, and cinnamon. This is a flavorful and comforting dish as the weather turns cool.

Simple Syrups

These handcrafted, all-natural syrups are made with organic cane sugar & either fresh organic ginger, organic hibiscus, or organic lemongrass. You can use these as a cocktail mix by adding to vodka, gin, tequila, rum, or sparkling wine. Or, make it a “mocktail” using seltzer or soda water or add some flavor to an iced tea – whatever suits your fancy! Each 12 oz jar of syrup can be used to make approximately 10 to 15 cocktails or mocktails.

You can also get creative and use our syrups in your recipes. Inject into layers of cake before you add your icing. Use them when you poach fruits like pears, apples, or peaches or add a drizzle to your fruit salad. Create marinades when baking or grilling fish or meat.
