Your meal will be delivered or available for pick up on Monday, Nov 30th

Your chef-prepared meal will be ready for pick up or delivery on Monday, November 30th – fully cooked and prepared so you can heat it up for dinner that night or freeze to enjoy later in the week. Available times are: Delivery 12-2pm, 2-4pm, or 4-6pm or Pick Up 4-6pm.

Miso Somen Noodle Soup with Roasted Sriracha Tofu, Winter Vegetables, and Shiitake Mushrooms

This is a delicious and comforting soup to RESET your body after “some” overindulgence during Thanksgiving!  We created this soup with oodles of Somen noodles to soak up a rich broth of fermented miso that’s full of good bacteria, roasted tofu with a touch of sriracha, loads of winter vegetables like kale and shiitake mushrooms, and aromatics like ginger to bring your body back on track without comprising flavors!

Miso is rich in essential minerals and a good source of various B vitamins, vitamins E, K and folic acid. As a fermented food, miso provides the gut with beneficial bacteria.

 

Bok choy is full of phytonutrients like vitamin A lutein, zeaxanthin that are beneficial for vision. The dietary fiber in bok choy also provides support in cardiovascular health and digestion.

This healthy dish offers a great combination of texture and flavors and exudes that wonderful salty-sweet-umami balance.  The salmon is marinated in a combination of white miso, sake, ginger, and mirin then pan roasted to retain moisture.  It’s served with soba noodles that are nutty and an exotic mix of Japanese mushrooms and sautéed Bok Choy.

Going with our “sake” theme this week, we infuse it with homemade chicken broth, ginger, and scallions as the base to steam organic chicken.  The result is amazingly tender and flavorful chicken that is so healthy!

Who doesn’t love oodles of noodles?  Japchae is a popular Korean dish made with sweet potato starch “Korean glass noodles” that have a unique springy and chewy texture and a great sesame-soy-rice wine sauce to create a balanced flavor of sweet, salty, and nutty.  This vegan version works beautifully with a medley of crispy vegetables, braised tofu, and earthy “meaty” king oyster mushrooms for a delicious and satisfying comfort dish.

Simple Syrups

These handcrafted, all-natural syrups are made with organic cane sugar & either fresh organic ginger, organic hibiscus, or organic lemongrass. You can use these as a cocktail mix by adding to vodka, gin, tequila, rum, or sparkling wine. Or, make it a “mocktail” using seltzer or soda water or add some flavor to an iced tea – whatever suits your fancy! Each 12 oz jar of syrup can be used to make approximately 10 to 15 cocktails or mocktails.

You can also get creative and use our syrups in your recipes. Inject into layers of cake before you add your icing. Use them when you poach fruits like pears, apples, or peaches or add a drizzle to your fruit salad. Create marinades when baking or grilling fish or meat.
