For over a decade, Open Kitchen has been bringing people together through exceptional, thoughtfully crafted food and drink events.
Launched in 2009 by Hue-Chan Karels, Open Kitchen’s unique, multi-purpose space was hailed as one of the best new eateries in the Washington DC Metro area, featuring a farm-to-table bistro, private event space, cooking school, and commercial kitchen rental facility. In 2014, Hue-Chan and her husband brought Open Kitchen to Santa Fe, when they found their dream home.
Today, Open Kitchen has been reimagined to offer inspired culinary events and services, passionately crafted in Santa Fe, including curated, interactive dining experiences, creative food and drink pairing events, hands-on specialty cooking experiences, impactful cooking team building and corporate retreats, boutique event planning and catering, and a healthy chef-prepared meal delivery service.
Throughout our journey, we have always believed that fresh, delicious, healthy foods come from the earth and the kitchen. Our cuisine is globally inspired, locally sourced, and handcrafted with seasonal ingredients.
