Your meal will be available for pick up on Wednesday, Jan 13rd

Your chef-prepared meal will be ready for pick up on Wednesday, January 13rd – fully cooked and prepared so you can heat it up for dinner that night or freeze to enjoy later in the week. Pick Up 4-6pm at Bath Tub Row Brewing Co-op, Los Alamos.

Miso Ramen with Chashu Pork (Pork Belly) and Ajitsuke Tamago (Marinated Soft-Boiled Egg)

“Miso” style ramen is one of the “Big 4” types of ramen known for its umami-rich flavors.  We add a combination of white and red miso to a slow-cooking bone broth of pork and chicken plus essentials such as dried shiitake mushrooms, root ginger, onions, and kombu (seaweed).  This amazing ramen comes with braised pork belly, a jammy marinated egg, sweetcorn, bamboo shoots, nori (Japanese sun-dried seaweed), and scallions.  An awesome noodle soup for the chilly weather!

Pork is a great source of lean protein and is high in thiamine.

 

Miso is rich in essential minerals and a good source of various B vitamins, vitamins E, K and folic acid. As a fermented food, miso provides the gut with beneficial bacteria.

 

Eggs are high in quality protein and contain 11 vitamins and minerals, omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants.

Creamy Potato Leek Soup

Potato Leek Soup is the ultimate comfort food. Fragrant hardy winter leeks are simmered with potatoes, homemade vegetable stock, and cream and emulsify for a flavorful bisque-like smoothness.  A hot bowl of our potato leek soup with a slice of focaccia is all you need for a nourishing meal on a cold Winter’s day.

Simple Syrups

These handcrafted, all-natural syrups are made with organic cane sugar & either fresh organic ginger, organic hibiscus, or organic lemongrass. You can use these as a cocktail mix by adding to vodka, gin, tequila, rum, or sparkling wine. Or, make it a “mocktail” using seltzer or soda water or add some flavor to an iced tea – whatever suits your fancy! Each 12 oz jar of syrup can be used to make approximately 10 to 15 cocktails or mocktails.

You can also get creative and use our syrups in your recipes. Inject into layers of cake before you add your icing. Use them when you poach fruits like pears, apples, or peaches or add a drizzle to your fruit salad. Create marinades when baking or grilling fish or meat.
