Registration Deadline by Wednesday, June 8th, 2022

Join Open Kitchen to Experience the Festive Multi-Cultures of Trinidad and Tobago

Trinidad and Tobago is the southern most dual-island in the Caribbean with a population of 1.3 million people. It is a melting pot of a various ethnicities and cultures and the food mirrors this mixture. The island is known for Carnival which is a two-day street party before the start of Lent. In the lead-up to Carnival, there are multiple late-night parties or “fetes” and street or party food is an integral aspect of the celebrations. You don’t have to wait until next year’s Carnival! Join Guest Chef Kari Persad and our Open Kitchen chefs in this class as we create dishes that will bring Carnival’s festive foods to you as we celebrate “The Greatest show on Earth”.
