Join Open Kitchen for this special cooking class inspired by the bounty of summer seasonal fruits and vegetables at our amazing farmers market and recipes from our friend and colleague Doug Merriam’s Farm Fresh Journey, The Santa Fe Farmers Market Cookbook!
The fun begins at 8:45 am when you meet Open Kitchen Chefs Leslie Chavez and Erica Tai at the Santa Fe Farmers Market and visit Doug’s table at the market and then we’ll go shopping for gorgeous fresh local produce to make our delicious lunch. Once the ingredients have been hand-picked, we’ll go Open Kitchen where you will learn to prepare a mouth-watering four-course meal.

What to Expect: This is a market tour and hands-on, engaging, and intimate cooking class. You will have the opportunity to tour the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market with and then cook alongside Open Kitchen Chef Team, dine on all the dishes you’ve made, and have fun! IMPORTANT: You will need to meet Open Kitchen at the Santa Fe Farmers’ market at 8:45 am on Saturday, August 13, 2022. You will experience a memorable day at Open Kitchen among a community of friends with recipes to take back to your home kitchen.
*This cooking Class is a publicly offered event. At Open Kitchen, we follow the related rules and regulations regarding COVID-safety. The cooking classes are limited in the number of guests so we can provide the recommended space and safe environment for everyone. The maximum guests for this cooking class is 16 people. Cooking Class is $135 plus tax per person
All guests will be required to show proof of vaccination upon checking in. For those who are not vaccinated, we will also accept proof of negative results from a COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of the event. Photos may be taken by Open Kitchen during class/event. Unless you explicitly make a request to Open Kitchen not to be photographed, Open Kitchen has full consent to take photographs while you are on our premises. Open Kitchen has full and unrestricted rights of these photographs. *Registered Events are non-refundable unless related to COVID and Health-related issues – we will hold a credit for 60 days.
