Taiwanese Cuisine Cooking Class

Event date: April 23, 2022 ∙ 10 am to 1 pm

Registration Deadline by Wednesday, April 20th, 2022

Join Open Kitchen for a Trip to the Cultural Melting Pot – Taiwan!

Taiwan is an island located in East Asia in the middle of China, Korean, Japan, and the Philippines. It was referred to as “Formosa” or the beautiful island by the Portuguese sailors back in 1542. Because of its geographic location, Taiwan was and still is the central portal for transporting goods and its culinary scene is influenced by many cultures. Join Open Kitchen’s Chef de Cuisine Erica Tai in this class as we explore the fundamental flavor profile of Taiwanese cuisine and make some classical dishes!
