Join Open Kitchen and Escape to the Ocean Breeze of Hawaii Through your Tastebuds!

Join Open Kitchen’s Chef de Cuisine Erica Tai and plan a culinary escape to the blue skies, ocean waves and delicious cuisine of the rainbow state! In this class, we will start off with the favorite Hawaiian-style Poke with Tuna and introduce you to Huli Huli Chicken, which means “turning” in Hawaiian. Driving through the surfing heaven of north shore Hawaii, you smell the delicious Huli Huli chicken and garlic shrimp from the food trucks along the way! We will share with you the recipe and techniques to make the perfect, delicious Hawaiian dishes in this class.

What to Expect: This is a hands-on, engaging, and intimate cooking class.  You will have the opportunity to cook alongside Open Kitchen Chef Team, dine on all the dishes you’ve made, and have fun.  You will experience a memorable day at Open Kitchen among a community of friends with recipes to take back to your home kitchen.

 

*The Hawaiian Cuisine Cooking Class is a publicly offered event. At Open Kitchen, we follow the related rules and regulations regarding COVID-safety. The cooking classes are limited in the number of guests so we can provide the recommended space and safe environment for everyone. The maximum guests for this cooking class is 16 people. The Hawaiian Cuisine Cooking Class is $115 plus tax per person

All guests will be required to show proof of vaccination upon checking in. For those who are not vaccinated, we will also accept proof of negative results from a COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of the event. Photos may be taken by Open Kitchen during class/event. Unless you explicitly make a request to Open Kitchen not to be photographed, Open Kitchen has full consent to take photographs while you are on our premises. Open Kitchen has full and unrestricted rights of these photographs. *Registered Events are non-refundable unless related to COVID and Health-related issues – we will hold a credit for 60 days.
