Join Open Kitchen’s Chef de Cuisine Erica Tai and travel the world through your palate with our Traditional Korean Cuisine Cooking Class II! Come and learn how to make some delicious Korean foods with traditional techniques and flavors. Experience the making of heart-warming Korean soup Sundubu Jjigae – braised spicy egg tofu soup and classic Bibimpap from start to finish! We will also take the traditional approach using whole Napa Cabbage with Korean daikon, carrot, and aromatics in making the kimchi. We will make the kimchi in class with step-by-step instructions and you can take it home to enjoy once it is fermented!

What to Expect: This is a hands-on, engaging, and intimate cooking class. You will have the opportunity to cook alongside Open Kitchen Chef Team, dine on all the dishes you’ve made, and have fun. You will experience a memorable day at Open Kitchen among a community of friends with recipes to take back to your home kitchen.
*Traditional Korean Cooking Class II is a publicly offered event. At Open Kitchen, we follow the related rules and regulations regarding COVID-safety. The cooking classes are limited in the number of guests so we can provide the recommended space and safe environment for everyone. The maximum guests for this cooking class is 16 people. Traditional Korean Cooking Class II is $115 plus tax per person
All guests taking our PUBLIC cooking classes will be required to show proof of vaccination upon checking in for class. For those who are not vaccinated, we will also accept proof of negative results from a COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of the event.
*Registered Classes are non-refundable unless related to COVID and Health-related issues – we will hold a credit for 60 days.
