Join Open Kitchen for a trip Southward in Thailand … learn to cook with Indigenous Spices and Ingredients!

How do the flavors of Thai food change as you travel southward in Thailand?  Join Open Kitchen’s Guest Chef Derek Rugsaken in this specialized cooking class where we explore how coconut milk, curry pastes and South Asian spices have influenced the cuisine of this region.  Learn to make the delicious fish-curry noodles ‘Khanom Jeen’, famous ‘Hat Yai’ fried chicken and yellow rice while hearing about how these dishes came to be through the interaction of the cultures in the region.
