Open Kitchen popped up again today in another great article.  Patricia West-Barker, writer for, interviews Alexis Brown, director of development and communications for the Santa Fe Farmer’s Market Institute in regards to the upcoming Community Picnic.  Her article “Picnic with Panache” covers the reasoning behind the event, the chefs involved in bringing it all together, including Hue Chan Karels, and the overall mission of the event.
